"This afternoon" indicates to me that they first became aware of it this afternoon...
And they wonder why we go to APC for current info instead of Alpa.org
Maybe they don't want to chase every internet rumor. Remember the one where we were joining forces with DHL? I think that came out just before UPS actually made that move.
