I still work for an FBO w/ flight school because well, lets face it, the industry tanked! Working the line will make you a better pilot all around if you know how the treat your plane. Plus when I rent and got my ratings it was at a 10% airplane and stuff discount along with $10/hr less on instructors. This adds up great especially when working on your multi!
