At my old freight job we were pilots and line-service when you got home. We had to fuel, put oil in, tow them in and out of the hanger, clean windshields, impromptu fix-it's, etc... It wasn't the worst thing in the world, but the last thing you want to do when you get home from a full "duty" period is have to fill your plane and put it away.
