I'm pretty sure, they know that the fuel price is high, and if they wanted to do something about it, they would have done it already. It's not that they live where fuel is cheap, theyre dealing with the same problem. Every citizen can write a nice long letter asking for lower fuel price, and Im pretty certain that it wouldnt change much.
Maybe Im just too pessimistic, but ill give a woot for the recent decrease in oil price.
obviously you're a little slow so i'll have to go into more detail. if you want lower gas prices you gotta tell the democratic congress to step up and do at least a couple things such as... drill here in the us soon and invest in alternative sources, also tell them that pelosi's idea with the reserve is a joke and she should stop hugging trees and actually take a good look around at all the people that are hurting because of these prices. and yes, your short letter would do just fine, its to the point and its enough to get their attention. but at least address the letter to YOUR representative instead of "to whom it may concern," because as the name implies, they are in washington to represent YOU.
