It's a risky profession, as you've stated, there really isn't much else at this time. So it's human nature to get moving take what you can. It could be awhile before you get the opportunity again. My 5 years at Mesa have been good to me, I've learned a lot flying with 10,000 to 20,000 hr. captains, as well as 300 hr. F/Os.
Many opportunities have been afforded to me that I might not have had at other carriers. Last but not least, I work for myself and my family, not my CEO. Do your research, know what you're potentially getting yourself into, and don't have any regrets.
Jeszcze Polska Nie Zginela...

I gotta know man, what kind of opportunities? The opportunity for free airport camping trips in a flying RV? The opportunity to explain to your friends, family and significant other why you have to cancel your vacation? The opportunity to know what it feels like to sit in a 3 hour taxi line up at the hub and know that you quit getting paid for your turn an hour ago? I just gotta know, what doors are being blown wide open by a career at Mesa?
