That's better than the gentleman I had on my airplane who realized half way between Asheville, NC and Charlotte that he was trying to go to ATL, not Charlotte (and he was trying to get there on Delta, not US Airways). At least if you go to a town that has the same name it's a little more understandable. The wrong city on the wrong airline is pretty crazy.
Yea thats pretty sad and I see it all the time. The gate agent asks the FA how many are on board and just writes that number on the load-sheet, "good-to-go, see ya later."
Tickets? Counting?? HA!
