Has there been an answer communicated yet for the disposal of CFB's? If an easy, convenient answer isn't communicated relatively soon the same people who march down the street chanting CFB's, CFB's will be the very ones who will begin chanting Mercury, Mercury.

I replace my legacy bulbs with CFB's as they burn out but don't have a lot of faith in the disposal/recycling of these bulbs. The typical lazy American will end up throwing these away in a landfill which will one day contaminate ground-water.
