If you don't think that DL management is laughing at how they have y'all battling each other and doing the job for a lot less than what it should be done, then you really don't have the strategic picture in mind. Don't be fooled by the $1.2B writedown. It's all accounting tricks. $137 million profit for Q2, increased cash on hand, and you guys are partly responsible for that. To play Devil Advocate, while you are arguing about taking each other's flying, I wonder what would be said if the mainline pilots were successful in recapturing all 50+ seat jet flying and scoping all the regionals back to TPs?

With that said, I really don't expect that to occur. The 50-76 seat horse left the barn a long time ago. Ultimately the decision who gets what flying comes from Mahogany Row, and the regional pilot has very little say in it, other than to refuse to fly for very low wages.
