Well, that's the reality of business. Sure, I'd like to say it's not fair, but that's the way it has always worked. Until share holders put enough pressure on board members to change the 'theory' about hiring high priced 'talent' at the executive level, the system will remain the same. Own enough shares and you can put the bug in their ear!
And tell your politicians to sponsor laws to keep shareholder accountability strong, too.
