Good article about them in this month's "Airliners" magazine. I think they hitched their wagon to the wrong fleet type personally. The Citation Mustang would've been smarter. The eclipse -- nice avionics or not -- just does not have the appearance of a comfortable or substantial looking airplane.
Talked to an Eclipse guy last week about his airplane...Sounds like the avionics aren't as ******* hot as people think. Most of the FMS functions are placarded inoperative (especially on the autoflight panel) and on this particular airplane they're going to yard most of the FMS stuff out and replace it with Garmin navigation systems, defeating the point.
Cessna built a better airplane...at least as far as magic is concerned.
