Furloughed since 10/1/2001 from AA. And, have no idea when they will get to the bottom of the heap of us 2800 or so that were furloughed during the years following 9/11. Fortunately I had the military to fall back on..not anymore..will retire in a few months. Have 2 airline jobs that I don't have..hired by JB in March, but nothing going on there either right now. Planning to go for type rating soon, and try to get on w/ SWA. Buddy of mine retired several months ago (also AA dude), and got on with Raytheon..says he is glad not to be at the end of the whip anymore. Maybe a job will come through with Lockheed Martin for me. Hoping that will lend a little more insight for ya.
