MOST places (not all) you cant make a living flight instructing. I work full time (probably 50 hours a week), and am still below the poverty line... ANY regional is better than what im doing right now, and a lot of instructors are in the same boat.
Get this thread back on track and quit bashing those who are trying to better themselves by moving up (no matter how small the move up may be)....
I used to feel the same way. But after 2.5 years in this crazy business I have come to the realization that I would fly around in a 152 dressed like Ronald McDonald if it payed $170K/year, full benefits (including travel) and I could be home every night.
