I'll be taking a part-time job that will pay more than flying ever did, still related to the industry. I plan to CFI on the side as well, if I can manage to track down any students. I've been saving like a madman since I was 13, and now I know why.

With the new income, extensive savings and free time I'll have now, I'm looking into higher education. I've taken the LSAT and done better than I would have thought, and I'm studying for the MCAT. Y'know, keep my options open - haven't decided which will be my backup career. Hopefully a guy with an ATP and that kind of educational backing will find a niche somewhere...

It's funny, you get into the airlines because of the freedom of the whole thing, and I haven't experienced it until now. Depending on how the next couple of months go, I may not be coming back.
