This is my favorite part! Damn Skinny guys looking all unprofessional. Yep lets pick on the young skinny guys for looking unprofessional. Sometimes skinny guys have to keep their belt tight cause guess what THEY'RE SKINNY and their pants will fall around their ankles without a tight belt (I know I used to be skinny) maybe all the fat guys should lose some weight and the bald guys should wear a piece and the short guys should grow and the guys that have brown eyes should get blue contacts and the guys with brown hair should bleach it blonde and we can have a new arian nation of pilots. Here is my opinion on the matter, wear your uniform! Tuck in your shirt. Try not to have huge whitehead zits on your face, brush your teeth and carry some mints, wear some deodorant and forget about what others are doing. And for the love of all things holy can we please stop with the stereotyping. Not all Capts are good and not all of them should be Capts. Not everyone that has been around forever has really Paid their dues and not all Capts know everything. not all regional FOs are young guys with spiky hair and not all of them are idiots either and just because we might be new at the regional game doesn't mean that we haven't paid any dues and deserve to be treated poorly. I happen to be a 33 yr old emb 120 fo and my hair is not spiky right now but maybe I will do it just to **** some of you off. I am not skinny but I am not fat either. I am 6'6" and I have big feet, my shoes look OK my shirt is usually tucked but pulled out a bit, my tie is done up tight, I wear pleated pants cause they fit me better. I have an Ipod and listen to it some times. I have respect for the profession but I really hate the uniform. I don't wear a back pack but I do use a patagonia messenger bag for my flight bag. I have been an instructor double I and MEI, I have been an alaska bush pilot and a multi engine single pilot IFR freight dawg, and now I am a regional fo. I am not the best pilot on the planet but I ain't no dumba$$ either. And the first guy that comes up and tells me to stand up straight and show some respect for the profession is gonna get his teeth knocked so far down his throat he'll have to drop his drawers to chew his crew meal!
