youll need to get a new first class exam at the end of January '07 to keep the first class privileges, but why do that? It's good to know you can GET one, but unless something major happens that shouldnt change. Just wait the 36 months for the medical to expire and get whatever class your status requires. An exam for a first class medical always costs the same, no matter how many times you've already had one.
