Oh, plus a few thousand more in the 727.
The next time you find yourself wanting to tell anybody about "the way things are" I suggest you stop and bite your tongue.
Bite it until it bleeds.
Until then, sit down, shut up, and pay attention.

Who is "he"?
Are you referring to yourself, Jim? Yes, you did have a type rating 'till the feds finally took it away. Your speculations about what is going on are being warped by the distorted view through the bottom of the bottle and so much time spent away from the job.
And, no, I do not have a DC-8 PIC type, but I do have a career and I'm smart enough to know how to keep a job at an airline that has proven - with one exception - to be impossible to be fired from.
My view of "the way things are" is current and accurate. I'll take my advice from people I respect and who have the intelligence to keep their jobs and keep their posts accurate.
