We're not talking about the manufacture; we're talking about the US demand for the CR10. Do you actually think that manufactures have the ability to sell an airframe to an airline that doesn't need them? That's some serious Kool-Aid there.
But you're right, they don't give a crap about scope but I guaran-damn-t you that they do give a crap about demand and I bet they’re going to sell them overseas with none being sold to a US regional.

Remember that scope, for the most part, is pretty well maxed out in the 70ish range (excluding US Airways) therefore there will be no US regional demand.
I also wouldn't expect mainline to buy them. No they're looking more for an a/c that can operate down to the top of their scope limits and up to the 73 range all while on the same type; thus reducing cost. The CRJ series can't offer the growth so this is where Embraer’s E series and Bombardier’s C series come into play. I would expect mainline to buy them and buy them in large amounts over the next 2-10 years.
