If you have the time now, apply. Why wait 2 years before applying, thats two years of senority that you lose. And in two years you may see the requirements much higher to get one of these jobs than it is now. Right place right time sorta thing.

When I was in PPL trainning my instructors had +5000 hrs because no one was hiring. Hiring mins started dropping when I started instructing two years ago. Just the last year the hiring mins have dropped drastically, allbeit to lows that I dont think are a good idea, but the airlines were desperate. Now they are not so.
