My UAL Family - Thank You!
As many longtime readers of the forums may know, my late brother-in-law was very much loved at the Seattle base. When he died suddenly a few years ago, it was a great shock to everyone. The memorial service was attended by many of his friends and co-workers, many of whom traded places and flying with others around the country in order to make it. A small core of friends, in less than a week's time, planned out everything, down to the most minute detail.
This same group of friends was at my sister's wedding reception last night to celebrate her newfound love. I was glad to see you all again and the chance to reminisce about my brother-in-law. I swear I could hear his inimitable laugh all the way to heaven.
Thank you for being there for my sister and my family.
