I knew a guy who lived at an airpark, only it wasn't a "fly-in community." He literally lived in his hangar on the far side of the airport. It's a fine line between just hanging out there all the time, then adding a fridge, couch, tv....finally he just built a little apartment for himself up in the rafters. No one seemed to care and he managed to not make it look too "lived-in" for fire inspection code day. He lived there with his airplane, cars, motorcycle...
To my impoverished CFI self it seemed like he had it made. The only thing was he had to wander a few hangars down to the bathroom, and I have no idea where he showered, but hey.
