Awesome! What kind of airplane are you flying out of there? The first few flights were kind of mind blowing so I didn't really learn all that much, but once you get over how amazing flying is (which may never happen for some of us
), things will start to sink in a little bit. I didn't take my checkride until I had about 55 hours. I started flying september of '06 and i'm already a Multi Engine Instructor, which may be an example of what you can do if you set your mind to it. Maybe tomorrow, if you haven't already, you could start buying some books. I would pick up a logbook (obviously), FAR/AIM, Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, and Gleims Private Pilot written exam book to get you on your way. Doesn't have to be all at once though
