There will never be a pilot shortage. The reason? It takes less than a year to "create" a pilot in an accelerated program. Unfortunately, the only way that a shortage will occur is if standardized minimums are set. As we saw in our last hiring spree, if a shortage seems imminent, they just drop the minimums and the shortage goes away.
