I know a lot of people who have turned to aviation after having failed at so many other endeavors. Do they really think this'll be any different? Is there some sort of a genetic predisposition towards failure? Why pick aviation of all things?
A week or so ago an old friend, music major in college, directionless employment history, former ATP student $50K in debt (at least), now FO at Scenic Air making $15K offered me assistance in getting on board with that company. It was everything I could do to not laugh in his face...
