How does upgrade work, by seniority also or does the airline have its own review board or something like that?

Thanks again!
I've only inquired on two different contract jobs. The KAL one and one in Japan. I think it just varies. But on the Japanese one I was told, "it's a contract job for an FO position, so that's all you should expect". Not in a rude way, mind you. As the Japanese one was upgrading FO's after the term of the first contract was up. Just don't go into it with the expectation that you will upgrade.

I've heard the same from other guys as well.
