This information is good for lazy, can't be bothered to read my contract, sort of purple folks.
This is some puke who hasnt bothered to read his contract.

Get a real forum,
WG

PS: I know, just don't click on it. But if I and alot of others take that approach the readership diminishes and the value of the website diminishes. Um, get a private forum to educate your own, and to discuss your own.
I didn't know the only purpose of this forum was "to enlighten the flying population on the state of the industry". Hmmm.

That said, I think we have to give WG a little bit of a break. He's not used to dealing with a contract like ours that has the potential for varied interpretations by pilots or management.
As a former "World Guy" myself, I can attest to this. When you have portions of your contract dealing with things like duty day and flight time limits that just state: "See the FARs" , it might be difficult to appreciate the problems we occasionally encounter with contract interpretation.

Even with the occasional problem with our contract language, I'll take ours any day.
