They should know what they need in man hours and airplanes. You dont change the numbers that much on oil going down 30 dollars. It could go back up tomorrow.

While good news for UAL pilots, it shows the inability of the current management to plan and thing "ahead". They are incompetant emotional reactionists with little ability to properly run an airline.
While this is good news in the short term, it highlights the longterm gloomy outlook for UAL. As long as the current band of incompetant idiots are running the show, UAL will bleed to death like Apollo 13 and will one day sink faster than the USS Indianapolis.
It may take a while but Tilton and his band of chumps have all but mangled UAL's future.
