I've actually had someone do a unilateral pdo bump on me for an HNL dh and never bother to see if it was OK. Since I live in Hawaii and that was my DH bank for the month it wasn't OK and it can be a mess trying to get it undone when it's a weekend/night or holiday (or all 3 as it was in this case) if the bumper has already checked in.
