Don't know why everyone seems to think this furlough is going to be so short lived...BB's letter from 8/22 seems to hint at possible further reductions in staffing levels in Nov. I'd love to not have to go through training again, but I'm not holding out for the recall to RAH anytime soon. Besides, I came to RAH for the ORD base at Shuttle. From what I understand, those 23-less furloughed peeps are gonna be made to switch to the Republic certificate from the Shuttle certificate...I'm not really seeing the benefit of staying at RAH anymore if I can't get my desired domicile and the company can just do with me as it pleases with no repercussions.
Go look over at rp.org, but only 14 are being displaced to RW and that will likely go senior. There were no involuntary displacements to RW from CHQ in the first round. There has been much more detailed discussion on the "inside."
