30 year pilot or 30 year old pilot?

I'd say after 30 years, a pilot who has been flying regularly would have more than enough.

A 30 year old pilot has probably been slugging it out in the regionals, furloughed from another major, or military. Either way if they meet the mins (1000 PIC turbine) and have 3 internal recs from Fedex pilots and a sponsor, they can get an interview. (If we were hiring)
Competitive times probably vary based on where you're coming from. Most likely the further over the min the better but it's never really been all about total time from what I've seen.
