The AF academy won't make you an airline pilot. It's going to make you an officer in the military, so I don't understand what the AF academy has anything to do with being an airline pilot. Figure out what your priorities are in life, do you want to be a military pilot or a civilian pilot? No body goes to the AF academy so they could later find a job at the airlines, they go because they actually want to have a career as a a military pilot. Stay in school and meanwhile make sure you go get your private pilot license and see if you like flying.
