I'm not on the property, so I'm an outsider looking in, but it would seem to me that with the winter months coming and the busy summer season/merger going through, they'd need to something either way.
I agree with you, but if anyone would know, RA would be it. Of course, sometimes the head of an organization doesn't know all the details of the operation. A good follow up question would of been, "So how are we going to staff all the 777 coming this winter?" I think that is what would drive hiring.
Still - his "No" definitely puts the damper on the idea there is hiring.
