You are probably right on about that.
I've been watching this board for about 2 years now and I only ask because the most common complaints I hear are pilot pay (or lack of), most of the time bad contracts(or none at all), and "chump" low time FO's/ PFT.
I admit I'm not qualified to trash or compliment anything in the 121/135 world. It seems to an outsider that management is/has made some mistakes and not much has been done to improve the situation.
Basically, as I'm connecting dots I begin to question the benifits of paying someone to "protect" me from my employer, when it seems like the employers just keep on lowering pay, decreasing QOL, Furloughs, etc. (Or are they doing things to help? That is a real question I do not know anything about)
It seems to me (simple minded as I am) that if my working conditions are bad enough for me to need outside help, I should quit.
I'm not saying I'm right, it's just the impression I'm comming away with. And I welcome some guidance from those more enlightened than me.
