My FBI clearance was back in about 2 weeks. I asked for them to rush it they turned it around quickly. I was pleasantly suprised.
I did submit my application right away before having anything complete. I have been able to meet with the folks at AirNZ in person a couple of times now and I believe that has certainly helped me. As far as the NZ medical I beleive it is good for 6 months. I don't have it with me at the moment so I can't confirm that. I mainly did it prior to my last trip down. I wanted some more information to update in my application folder and I also wanted to show/prove my interest. I also figured that once I am on file with the CAA it will be easy to get current when the time comes then start from scratch.

I love Christchurch, it is a beautiful city. My wife is from In'gill in the deep South so I have a well developed taste for Speights!! You are right, gotta love that Kiwi brew! Have you had the chance to sample some of the world class fly fishing or hunting. I have fished every trip down and cannot get enough. Always looking forward to the next trip.
