what still boggles my mind is that boston was apparently the best base for on-time flying and really good on attendance...seemed like an all around good outfit Eagle had working for them...now they're closing it? to open a base in jfk? the most delay ridden/backed up airport around? sounds like AMR really wants to throw a lot of money away...
then again they have all that money saved up from our single engine taxiing.
Yeah, you know we are the best base in the system for the lowest sick calls, on time crew arrivals, etc. We are also the third largest base in terms of lines and number of total crew members. Jim and Will in Cp's office are great to work with. They did a great job turning the base around and just like us they are getting it handed to him. All the good work to get it shoved down your throat in the end.
Its too bad.
