Anyway - it looks to me that he might have been -2 of a formation and he was waiting for his lead to get into position. I wouldn't wait that long but you never know.

Or - maybe he was a single ship taking off after a flight of two. I don't know what your SOPs read. My current is 800' centerline. Most places I've flown have been 1,000' centerline or 500' staggered.
