It makes a huge difference when you fly with a good FO as opposed to one who never studies, complains, and fall asleep every 5 minutes.
You should treat your job with the same dedication and respect whether you work at Express Jet, Colgan, or a Legacy.
I can comfortably say you have a pi$$ poor attitude based on your time at Colgan up in Albany and also by your continuous belittlement of any aviator looking to start their careers at Colgan solely on the basis that they are not unionized. They are plenty of pilots here who want and are working towards having a union, and there is a very good reason why those pilots attempting to organize are not interested in your help.
I'm not sure if you were responding to my post (dunno what time it got pulled) but IF you were.. what I wrote has nothing to do with one's attitude. These are just rules that any normal employer should abide by, it's simple as paying an employee the rightful amount for their work. I don't want some kind of special verbal praise on crewtrac for working my butt off and I'm not expecting extra pay or anything.. I just want the BASIC pay that is due to me, without me having to fight for it time after time. My angry rant might make me look like I have crappy attitude, but I am angry because I work hard and all I get is poop slung in my face... I wouldn't have even posted if it weren't for Belliott saying he would enjoy working here. I was just incredulous reading that after having experienced everything I have with Colgan. Yeah, he's going to come here regardless of what I post in an internet forum... but at least now he can't say no one warned him.
