I always thought that seniority issues take care of themselves, with the exception of flight management, LCA's, flex guys, etc. If someone is savvy enough to manage to get himself passover pay, good on him. If it comes at someone elses expense, than that's an issue, otherwise it's not, at least in my opinion. By the way, if a lot of over-60 guys end up on the 777, and they can't fly together, it would seem to me that the company will have to increase their staffing model for that aircraft, thereby adding some younger, less senior guys to the jet. Guys whose seniority would not have allowed them to be awarded a 777 seat. Is that not a good thing?
