Making the jump from a piston airplane to netjets will be a difficult proposition, the odds won't be on your favor. My guess, NJ never hires a guy without turbine experience again....However you do have 700 turbine hours, and Cape Air operates ATRs, so I don't think its a waste time...all of this is irrelevant once you get furloughed, you gotta put food on the table, bills to pay, and you MUST stay current.
