Ok, Please remember a simple fact that the system before 9/11 worked just fine. The terrorists simply used items that were previously allowed, box cutters, and yes yes they said the had bombs, but I don't ever recall them finding such evidence.

So the TSA is false security for a threat that does not exists, or very unlikely for that matter. Terrorists are not dumb, they understand that even with assault rifles they will likely get jumped on if even thinking about going to the cockpit in an aircraft. They new that the mentality back then was that cooperation was the key to success and they capitalized on that thought process, plus the use of fear, nothing else.

Now what has the TSA done that couldn't have been done with the old system and the savings of billions of dollars on a new department, Homeland Security, that's running above govern't rules. And speaking of Homeland, don't we already have the FBI, CIA, DIA, and I'm sure a few others already in place, Bureocracy was the biggest factors of 9/11, countless reports already talked about the potential of airplanes being used as WMDs but they were neglected. More government only fuels more bureocracy.

9/11 happened and it was a very tragic day that will always be remember, but we live in a free country and with freedom comes the risk of bad things happening. Yet Americans are so ready to give up freedom for a false sense of security that does not exists. I choose freedom over a perfectly safe totalitarian government.
