He's also one of the reasons why our then President of SAPA is now at Alaska Airlines, having feared for his job and decided to seek greener pastures.
Yes, that was a BS move on Mgmnt's (BH) part. It's a rather long story for those who don't know but it all went down around the time the ALPA drive was in full swing as well as the ALPA lawsuit. Our then President was an ALPA supporter and a huge pilot advocate. He (our then SAPA Pres.) tried to hold BH and Mgmnt accountable for their promises and policies. They say that you could hear him yelling at BH from the other side of St. George telling him that if SKW wants to remain union free they better start holding up their end, BH was a true road block in our progress. The best part was that once BH had left and we got a new SAPA president, we ended up with almost everything our then President was working for.
We had a good relationship with Mgmnt when Holt was here, but now that he's gone we have a good
working relationship with Mgmnt.
