I agree. Hypotheticallly, if there were to be an "official" unofficial taxi slowdown, most other pilots don't mind too much, so long as they are in the loop and haven't been living inder a rock for the past decade. Because in the long run it would benefit them too. I know when NWA -9's were taxiing at .0003 knots I didnt mind. And ATC would usually ask me if I wanted to sidestep to a parallel taxiway to pass if I wanted to.
What ****es me off is when you have a flagship taxiiing like a frozen turtle because they dont have numbers yet, with a line of planes behind him, then as soon as he has the numbers he picks it up to a reasonable pace, rather than just having a normal taxi all the way and pulling over in the pad at the end of the runway.
Or when I don't have numbers yet and ground advizes someone to follow me, I always tell ground negative numbers and they let the other aircraft go first. Then that other aircraft, after getting in front of me and knowing why I let them in front, tells ground THEY don't have numbers and taxis like a turtle.
