What never made sense to me was the labor part of the model...tiny as those things are, they are REAL turbojets, and require real turbojet pilots. How did they expect to afford that with only 1-2 paying pax?

There are plenty of reasons to chose a regional over an air-taxi operation, so they would have to beat regional pay in the long term.

Maybe the assumption was tips...large ones, in cash.
