Well I have my doubts about that rumor since 01 Nov is a Saturday.

As far as uniforms are concerned, the only deadline that has been published is Spring 2009 for wear of the uniform. I doubt there is a fitting deadline since many pilots cannot (or will not) go to a fitting session in October. In my case I am not going anywhere near a crew base in October (I have the entire month on vacation).

I have seen an end of October deadline to get a 20% discount on some additional items. There are signs at many of the flight ops offices in NW bases advertising the discount. I checked the Abbott website because my DL friends said it was a better uniform, but I think I am going to go with M&H since they are offering direct billing to DL and you can get freebies with three of their packages. Still thinking of going to the Squid base near my house and checking the price on Nasal Radiator uniforms.
