Um, you only need to be CASS (which stands for Cockpit Access Something Something) approval to occupy the
cockpit jump seat.
If you are "jump seating" in the cabin, pursuant to whatever jump seat agreement your company has with other carriers (or whatever non-flightdeck seat you can negotiate with the captain), you don't need CASS, nor will your "ugly mug" be checked all the time.
