QUESTION:
Could you have a cocktail before jumpseating?

Is a a jumpseater (sitting on flightdeck) considered 'available crew'? Example: in case of working pilot incapacitation or another UA 232?

How about if cabin jumpseating?
No. You cannot drink while jumpseating in the cabin or the cockpit. You are part of the crew and can be asked to assist at any time. Alcohol FAR's apply.
