I don't think you are to far off. The 787-8 is like the 767-200 whereas the -9 is like a hybrid 767-300 to 777. The -9 will be the player. Plus all of the first airplane issues associated with the -8 will be resolved.
Had recurrent this week. Up on the fourth floor they were talking about the 787. Evidently it is way overweight. Looks like a large portion of the 787 options will be converted to 777s.
