Cool pic, I tried to snap one last week going down A1 to TPE around the Typhoon. We got the big arcing inverted cone on the nose and I thought for sure we were in for a loud treat. Maybe next time
This was taken going around that same typhoon. Just ran a 15 second exposure and waited for nature's strobe. I have yet to get a good St. Elmo's shot, usually too busy to be futzing with the camera.
