I believe the direct quote from you was:
"...we are not the only underpaid overworked members of the working class..." My reference to Marxist comments were this and similar comments like this that seem to prevail on this and other airline pilot sites. I read a post earlier that said all pilots should donate a day of pay from their paycheck each month so that their furloughed counterparts could still get a paycheck. I do not have an MBA. I don't claim to be any more intelligent than anybody, but I will say that I can claim to be less ignorant than many on here. I'm just a pilot. Sadly, I have figured out that being a commercial pilot is not a very glamorous job that is sliding rapidly in the wrong direction for an industry in which I would work.
Either way, you will never hear me asking the government to make sure I get paid what I think I deserve. I will go work somewhere that pays what I think I deserve. Most of the people on here think that they deserve something and are unwilling to leave if they don't get it. That just guarantees that they will never get it.
