Actually, if they are given a seniority #, they are considered furloughed. Which I would assume was done. Just because they didn't make it to the airplane doesn't mean they are any better off. Those 50 sent home from ground school are just as unemployed as the rest. They quit their job to start training and my guess is they are struggling like the others to find something else. Good luck to everyone that is out looking in this crap economy. Even a job at Denny's is tough to come by.
