I can only hope you don't work for Mesa. It's bad enough that the concept of brotherhood is totally meaningless to you. Why are those 50 guys not deserving of your "prayers and thoughts" to their families?
My prayers and thoughts are with all furloughs, especially those at a regional who didn't even get the chance to get some time. It certainly looks a lot better on a resume to have 100 hours in a CRJ than to have 100 hours in a Seminole when you're trying to find a job in this economy - even a non aviation job. "I was an airline pilot" still means something outside of aviation.
